
There are not many recipes that are more simple than this one… if you ever need to whip something up in only a few minutes – this is your prefect recipe.
Also great for an afternoon or morning snack – full of energy and protein.
Ingredients:
In a food processor, combine together:
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup hazelnuts
10 Medjool dates, pitted
1/2 Tsp. ginger powder
1/4 Tsp. cinnamon powder
2 Tbsp. agave nectar
1 Tsp.. melted coconut oil
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
Pulse a couple of times until combined, leaving some rough chunks for texture.
Press into a small square container (10x10cm).
Sprinkle with coconut pressing coconut well into slice.
Freeze for 20 mins and then slice into bite sized pieces or bars.
I like to keep this in the freezer – it will never go off and 5 minutes on the bench and it is thawed.
