Day 313 – Curry Tartlets

Curry Tartlets
Curry Tartlets

It has been a few days putting together these tartlets – but totally worth it.

These are a sumptuous spicy meal accompanied beautifully by tomato chutney.

Ingredients: … serves 4….

4 Savoury Tartlets ( you will need a day to make these prior)

1 Quantity Tomato Chutney

Filling the tarlets…

1 medium zucchini, roughly chopped

1 cup cashews (soaked for 2-4 hours)

1/2 medium head of cauliflower, stemmed and broken into florets

2 cups fresh spinach

1/2 cup fresh coriander

1 Tbsp. nutritional yeast

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

2 Tsp. curry (use a good quality organic curry – they are amazing!)

2 Tsp. white miso

Method:

In a food processor, process together the cashews and zucchini until smooth and set aside.

In the food processor, pulse together all remaining ingredients until well chopped.

Combine together the zucchini and cashews mixtures.

Spoon into tarlet cases – fill over the top as they will shrink down in dehydrator.

Dehydrate the tartlets for 6-8 hours until dry on top… (warning your house will smell like curry for the day!)

Serve warm or cool with some crunchy lettuce leaves and tomato chutney.

Wonderfully strong flavours – an absolute spicy delight!

  2. I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your site?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having
1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out
    better?
