Day 75 – L Body Type Juice

You may have heard of body types before.  Different body types store fat in different ways and have different metabolism rates.  Sandra Cabot’s book (Raw Juices can save your life) further describes the Body Types and how you can assist your body with weight loss and good health by eating fruits and vegetables that help your body type maintain it’s natural balance.

There is also some info at this web site http://www.weightcontroldoctor.com.au/content/The-Four-Body-Types-12

I am a Lymphatic Body Type which means when I put on weight I put it on all over my body and not just in one spot.  I end up looking fatter than I really am due to fluid retention from a dysfunctional lymphatic system.  I also have a sluggish to low metabolic rate which helps me gain weight easily.  I’m not so fond of exercise and have historically craved dairy products – although I rarely eat these now.

Lymphatic Body Types need to avoid dairy and drink plenty of water everyday and do regular exercise.

This juice recipe reduces fluid retention and is from Sandra’s book.

Ingredients:

1/3 inch fresh ginger

2 sticks celery

1/2 grapefruit

1/2 Lebanese cucumber

1 small red radish

2 inch slice fresh pineapple

Juice away and drink this invigorating spicy juice.  I could drink this everyday no problems at all.  Nothing sluggish about this gorgeous juice!

Yummo
