
Having an abundance – still – of zucchini and going camping meant trying the Zucchini chips again!
So with my new chopping tools and a bundle of zucchini’s I endeavoured to once again turn zucchini into chips… this time I was very successful… let me tell you how! I did say ‘spicy’ though!
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon
1 1/2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp cayenne
2 1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1 giant zucchini (as in my case) or 2-3 normal zucchini’s
Method:
Slice or chopped zucchini finely, toss until well coated in marinade. Lay out on lined dehydrator tray in a single layer. Dehydrate at 118 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 hours or until crispy – more is better than less 🙂
Perfect with a beer… not that I drink beer 😛
