I am going to use these onions in a recipe in a few days – but I guess you can use them any time in salads or sandwiches or in vege mixes 🙂
This is simple and fast to whip up, thankfully, because I have had a huge day and just want to go to bed – but needed to literally ‘whip up’ a raw food recipe for my blog.
Here tis…
Ingredients:
4 cups of thinly sliced red and sweet brown onions
1/4 cup agave nectar
1/4 cup cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for 1 day. These last for about 10 days in the fridge.
You can also dehydrate these onions for 4 hours at 115 degrees – but watch out for the onion smell! It is quite potent.
Night…
