I LOVE this dressing. I simply can not help myself when making this sauce – I dip my fingers in it – I lick the bowl out – slurp the excess off the spoon – it is simply the most delicious tangy and tasty sauce ever.
It is perfect for salads, falafels and I will use it tomorrow in my Hummus dip.
This recipe makes about 2 cups and you can put it in the fridge to keep for 3-4 weeks.
Today I only made a quarter recipe as I only need that much for my dip tomorrow.
Be warned – this is such a delicious raw sauce – any other sauce will just seem ‘bland’ after tasting this!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup Nama Shoyu (I went to 3 different supermarkets, couldn’t get to a Health Food Shop – so I have just used Soy Sauce this time)
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
3/8 cup tahini
Pop all the ingredients into a food processor – blend until smooth and creamy (again I just use my stick blender).
Try to resist licking out the bowl!
Go on dip your finger in and taste this – it is SOOO good!
Can’t wait until tomorrow to make my hummus dip using this sauce.
Loving my raw food.
Ally x
PS. Chickpeas are having their last day on the soak – they have sprouted and look gorgeous 🙂
Giving credit where credit is due…
Thank you Alissa Cohen for this delicious Tahini Dressing from ‘Raw Food for Everyone’ – one day I am going to pour this all over zucchini spaghetti and devour every ounce of yumminess.
