I am actually going to call this chocolate chia pudding instead of chocoalte chia porridge because I reckon it is just like eating chocolate mousse.
I was surprised at how well this came out – very happy to have this chocolate banana almond porridge for my breakfast this morning.
My son had some too – only with a little bit of maple syrup poured over the top to sweeten…
Remember a little goes a long way with Chia Porridge because it is really filling!
2 cups almond milk
3 Tbsp. chia seeds
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 Tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. sweetner agave nectar, maple syrup or coconut nectar (optional)
To serve, chopped banana and chopped almonds
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a bowl and place in the fridge overnight.
To serve, top with chopped almonds and bananas.
