
I’m excited this morning because I get to plant out my Kale seedlings today…
Reaching into the fridge to throw together a smoothie for breakfast – I find myself some Kale, strawberries, a few apples and a banana from the fruit bowl that needs eating immediately 🙂
So this morning, using up the left over fruit and vegetables from the week I am making Jenny Ross’ Global Smoothie from her Raw Food Basics cook book.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh berries (I used blackberries and strawberries from the garden)
1 banana
2 kale leaves
1 cup apple juice
1 tsp. stevia
Blend together until smooth and enjoy 🙂
Nom – all ready now for a morning in the garden.
