The raw food diet needs to contain about 40 – 50% green foods – this is a tad tricky to do if you are jut going to sit down and eat kale, lettuce and spinach…

Whizzing up a green smoothie each morning helps get those greens down in a simple and tasty way. Here’s a quick delicious green smoothie to try.

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana

1 stalk celery

2 – 3 Kale leaves

1 apple

juice of half lemon

200ml filtered water

Method:

Blend together until smooth and drink to your good health 🙂
