I make a smoothie or a juice everyday for breakfast and I usually throw together whatever is in the fridge with a bit of ice, almond milk and a superfood like Maca Root or Cacao.
This morning was no different – here is today’s choc berry smoothie (well actually it is Maca Root Berry – but I think it tastes a bit chocolatey or malty in flavour).
Ingredients:
5 strawberries (hulled)
1 frozen or fresh banana
1 cup ice
1 Tbsp Maca Root powder
1/3 cup almond milk
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve.
